Each spring, the Edinburgh Curling School hosts an under-17s competition. This year, the event will be Mixed Doubles, the newest curling discipline to join the Olympic schedule. Teams are made up of one female and one male player, and the competition is open to all ability levels.
This year’s event will be held on Saturday 23rd – Sunday 24th March 2019.
We are delighted to be able to offer the winning Scottish team a space in the Nordic Junior Curling Tour (NJCT) Mixed Doubles event in Stockholm, Sweden from 26th- 28th April 2019. The entry fee, flights and Matt Murdoch Curling Foundation (MMCF) kit for the winning team members will be funded by the MMCF. The runner up Scottish team will be eligible for a space in the NJCT Mixed Doubles event; the entry fee and flights will be funded by Scottish Curling. Should the prize winners be an international team, Edinburgh Curling School will provide an alternative prize.
