A new Wheelchair Curling club has been started within Murrayfield. This club meets on ah fortnightly basis and are looking for new members. If you know of anyone who would be interested in taking up the sport, then please get in touch with Jean Lennie.
Ten junior women’s and ten junior men’s teams will travel from around the world to compete in the 2015 event in Tallinn, Estonia.
This years event see’s five of Edinburgh’s Junior curlers representing Scotland.

It’s almost time to dig out the curling shoes and brush, and prepare yourself for another fun winter of Curling. This year’s calendar again is very, very busy – we will be running our usual courses (Beginner and Improver), along with the completion of our Olympic Try Cur Curling Beginners Course. Where we have already seen a massive response from those wishing to take up the sport.
Edinburgh New Stones Virtual Curling Club, will also be back on the ice with, what we hope will be a lot of new faces. So clubs if you are looking to bring new members into your club we can help get them up to speed for your club.
Online Booking of Courses – Now Available!
This year we have introduced an online booking system to help administer our courses. The hope is that you, the curler (of any ability), can come to our website and book yourself on to a course. Making it easier for you to access our services.

The National Virtual Curling Club Bonspiel is due to be held on Sat. 29th March 2014 at Braehead Curling Rink. Teams will play a minimum of four games, each game will be 4 ends. Morning Coffee / Lunch / Afternoon tea will be included.
Games will start at 08:45am and the event will finish no later than 6pm. Entry will be £100 per team.
